Currently the base rate is $45 per hour for web design. Custom, eight- to ten-page websites usually take less than twenty hours to complete. Time estimates are made before work begins and clients are encouraged to specify a maximum price. Word of mouth advertising is very important, so you can be assured that your site will be completed as efficiently as possible.

Design

At Mars Web Design the cost of each project is detailed in a written proposal. For most projects, the fees are determined simply by an hourly rate plus any additional expenses incurred in developing the site (in the past such expenses have included such things as payment for the permission to use copyrighted photos and client web hosting fees). Clients will know in advance of any fee beyond the hourly charge. Mars Web Design charges an hourly rate so that clients do not pay for extra time as they might with a package deal. In addition, each site is completely a custom design so you will not be paying to have your site forced into some template or to be restricted to a certain number of words on a given page.
